Background
The Australia Awards PNG is an initiative by the Australian Government to promote knowledge and leadership, and ties between Australia and Papua New Guinea. They offer scholarships and short courses in both Australia and Papua New Guinea.
They needed a website to promote the programs and take applications. It must be self-managed, comply with WCAG AA 2.0 accessibility, and operate smoothly for mobile delivery on slow 3G connections.
Solution
We went with WordPress as a CMS solution because our custom framework makes it incredibly easy to manage. It also enabled us to tailor the site for mobile delivery on slow connections.
